Just another room is an unclear space located in the transformative room of …ism projectspace. It is a collection of familiar shapes and unknown objects arranged into an immersive, site-specific installation that presents itself as a room with an unclear function. Positioned as an extension of domestic space it consists of secretive objects that strike familiarity through their parts but not through their whole. A play of meanings and identity, of objects and sculptures, function and absurdity, mess and order.
Are our impulses to assign and compare correct or can this space erase the deeply rooted idea of what a room in a house is?
