Domestic Daydreams
Domestic Daydreams is a playground for research - a research through design. Domestic space is an image of an ideal imaginary home. A home that consists of and is shaped by human habits, common objects and their affordances. Through daydreaming, speculating and making physical fictions in the realm of unreality I play, laugh, wonder, experiment and change habits that objects construct. With the aim of unlearning them, creating implications and gathering knowledge. Knowledge to share and create a starting point - for a comment, a provocation, a debate, a revolution.
Small Scale Commons
Small scale commons is a research project on how abandoned objects, found around the neighbourhood of Moerwijk, can be integrated back into the community and become commons.
P.I.M.P.S.
Prototypes of Integrated Mobilia from Private Stuff was a workshop I tutored as part of EASA Commons. In order to create some furniture for the spaces of SADACCA we first collected old furniture and objects from their basement that were once used, and from people of SADACCA in order to test the hypothesis of the past individual ownership translating into new conjoined objects and thus creating a sense of commons through recognition of their past.
