About
Luka is a spatial designer and artist who obtained his bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Architecture in 2020 and a masters degree in interior architecture at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague in 2024. He is interested in possible and impossible alternative ways of existing in space that challenge the norms of architectural practice and focus on the human experience. To research this he combines an artistic and architectural approach, using speculation, creating objects and spaces that exist between reality and fiction, that are between art and spatial design. His primary aim is to identify and deconstruct issues within contemporary spaces, and approach them patiently through testing and experimenting.
Luka’s approach is characterised by hands-on experimentation. Utilising discarded materials, he crafts playful objects at a 1:1 scale, which serve as research tools.
His experiments and research presentations are characterised by their performative, playful, and humorous nature.
